Epoxy Countertops Journal – What’s What?
July 1, 2023Epoxy Countertops Journal - First Entry
In starting our journal here about Epoxy Countertops, we're not going to be posting articles everyday however we will be posting every once in a while to share our experiences, highlight what we've done, and touch base on some of the bumps in the roads that we've hit while learning from those mistakes.
To start this off..
Hello from CounterI of Scottsdale! We're excited to be one of the franchises for the state of Arizona of Counter Intelligence. We're an epoxy countertop company that fully designs custom epoxy countertops for each customer. Now our location was Scottsdale and still is however, in recent changes within the franchise rules, we're now able to work anywhere in the state of Arizona and we're pretty excited about this.
We have a mailing office in Scottsdale and we manufacturing our custom handmade countertops in Tempe. We're a small mom and pops operation in short as we're 3 partners that have a passion for creating things. A few months ago became a franchisee and that process has been a true experience. Counter Intelligence is a wonderful company, everyone in the company is like family and once you're a franchisee, well you become part of that family. They've been by our sides every step of the way, from 100 hours of hands on training by Troy Wilkerson, Ty, Rick, Jess and some of the others; they've shown us how to craft beautiful pieces of art.
Now most people don't think of their kitchen or bathroom as an art display though when you have epoxy countertops, that's sort of what you end up with. Epoxy Countertops are completely one of a kind. No countertop is exactly the same. You pick the colors, and then let us help you make that vision of yours a reality. Also some important things that we've learned about epoxy countertops, they're extremely heat resistant, and scratch resistant, when done the intelligent way.
Something Else on our Minds
One thing about being a franchisee, it comes with stuff; stuff you get are based on what your agreement is, so we will call it stuff. Social Media, we're not huge fans but it's something we all have to have if we're a business. But... Our social media doesn't have to look like a spam outlet. We've noticed that our social media looked like a cluttered mess of true garbage that actually has nothing to do with what CounterIofScottsdale is or does, nor does it show the way we do business.
We're straight forward and to the point people. We love our customers, we spend the time with each client to help them get exactly what they want, and we want our social to also reflect how we operate as a company and we're personable. So we've took this over with a small team of people whom will help us display what we do at CounterI of Scottsdale and not post a bunch of random spam-ish ads.
So as for our epoxy countertops journal - day 1 or first entry. What we've learned over the last few months is that every job has is completely different. Every job comes with it's own little hiccups. Epoxy is a liquid so every piece of art has blemishes though that's what makes it unique at the same time. Most importantly every customer has a wonderful story and we're excited to hear yours.
