Wood grain Epoxy Countertop | Epoxy Countertop Journal
July 27, 2023Welcome back to our Epoxy Countertop Journal
What a week! We hope everyone has had a wonderful time so far in their work week or vacation week, whichever fits best. We've been hard at work as always. We've had several epoxy countertop jobs to complete and install, two installed back to back over a two day session while at the same time it was severely hot out. A few of us did get heat stroke and spent a few days trying to fight it off, we are all okay though so not to worry.
The learning curve has been quite interesting to say the least. We're preparing to be taking our course on how to use the new UV system on epoxy countertops, this is going to be epic. We've seen it done, we've watched things go wrong and we've watched things go right, it's been a wonderful experience so far. You can see the short video on the right, the durability is amazing. Now this isn't available for us to use yet, but it will be soon.
Aside from the UV system for epoxy countertops, We're working on some custom made epoxy countertop displays for our friends to display at the Glendale Home Show July 14-16. They will be passing out things for us, such wonderful friends.
We're also working on a beautiful set of epoxy countertops which for some reason we've hit a jam. The customer wants a specific look, they want it to match one we had at the West World event, we said absolutely no problem and made a sample board. The sample board was a smaller version of course but absolutely the style etc and, well it wasn't right according to the customer, so we made another one. After 4 sample boards we spoke with the customer and decided to bring in Troy from Headquarters, he made that countertop and has the YouTube video up of him doing it. So he came in and made a sample board and it looks almost exactly like the one at West World and from the video. The customer still says it doesn't look like it, so today we had planned on epoxying those however we're setting them to the side for the customer to look over some other styles in hopes he finds what he is looking for. Either way, our number 1 goal is 100% satisfaction.
On the up for today. Our epoxy countertop journal is stating to get readers and that's awesome. We will be sharing all kinds of experiences throughout our adventures of having an epoxy countertop franchise. Now it's time to get the day rolling, many thanks for reading.
